All pieces are made with stoneware clay, painted with underglaze before they are bisque fired and glazed with industry standard, food safe glazes. Learning and developing painting skills with underglaze has been a focus of Ekatto ceramics, using the medium to its fullest to tell stories and make clay a new type of canvas. Art prints painted in gouache of rolling hills are made to compliment the ceramics and create a 2D option for your wall.
